The Offensive Guitar is an instrument designed specifically to capture the angular esoteric playing styles heard in experimental Jazz and Roots music. Think the guitar solo from ‘Clap Hands’ by Waits and you’ll be in the right musical context for this instrument’s existence. A homage to a style of playing not explored in our specific niche of software instrument. Alongside aggressive and biting sample sets of the entire instrument, there are also a series of experimental and incredible textural sound effects - all performed live on detuned guitars with rulers and pencils jammed in between the strings!
Important Note: Offensive Guitar requires the FULL version of Kontakt 5/6/7/8 or above. Downloading this with only the free 'Kontakt Player' will limit its use to 15 minutes per load.
